Hailed by The Washington Post as one of the most naturally gifted performers on the classical music scene, Jean Rondeau has established himself as one of the leading harpsichordists of his generation. Trained at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris, he won First Prize at the Bruges International Harpsichord Competition in 2012 at just 21 years old. An exclusive Erato artist, he has built an acclaimed discography with numerous international awards.

For this Montreal recital, Jean Rondeau invites us into the world of the French repertoire of the Grand Siècle and the 18th century, with works by Louis Couperin, Jean-Philippe Rameau, François Couperin, and Pancrace Royer, one of the composers he particularly admires. A musical journey of rare elegance, brought to life by an artist at the peak of his artistry.
