Works by J. S. Bach. What if Johann Sebastian Bach himself told you his life story? Delightful anecdotes, humorous moments, and deeply moving episodes: each comes vividly to life through music. A harpsichordist-narrator gives voice to the master while accompanying himself on the harpsichord, joined by violin, flute, and cello, to portray Bach’s rich life.
With humor and emotion, this one-hour performance weaves narrative and music into an intimate and compelling portrait. Above all, it is a concert in which well-known works and rarer pieces shine side by side.
