RECITAL BY OLGA DAVNIS (RUSSIA)

Russian-born Olga Davnis is a young harpsichordist, pianist and pianofortist with a remarkable career path. Trained first in Moscow, then at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis with Francesco Corti, she went on to perfect her skills with Pierre Hantaï, Christophe Rousset and Andreas Staier, among others. Winner of several prestigious prizes, including 1st prize in ex aequo at the Leipzig Bach Competition in 2022 and the Jurow International Harpsichord Competition in 2024, she makes her Montreal debut in a program devoted to François Couperin, Jacques Duphly and Johann Sebastian Bach.
