LE RAPPEL DES OISEAUX

Wednesday, October 9, 2024
7:30 PM

Under Luc Beauséjour's fingers, a multitude of diverse birds take flight from the harpsichord, owned by the Bourgie Hall, crafted by Keith Hill in the style of the Ruckers dynasty (significant Antwerp instrument makers of the 17th century whose instruments were long admired in France and throughout Europe). These bird portraits, penned by French masters, seek to evoke, with great wit, both their songs and the characteristics attributed to them by poetic tradition since time immemorial.
